Become a Community Lead

Community Leads are people willing to help organise and coordinate pest control in their own local community.

Becoming a Community Lead is easy, but will be vital to the success of Tiakina Whangārei as you will be the main contact for people maintaining traps in your community. This might mean that you distribute traps around to the neighbours on your street, or to your suburb – whatever you are comfortable with.

Your neighbours might also have a few questions that they will look to you for answers, however, we don’t expect you to know it all! We have a great support network within the Tiakina Whanārei whānau and we will always be there to help out.

Please get in touch if you are interested in becoming a community lead and we can talk through more of the ins and outs of the role.
