Conservation Week – Tiakina Whangarei, Kiwi North and Birds NZ at the Whangarei Growers’ Market

Conservation Week 2019 starts this Saturday 14 September and the Tiakina Whangarei team will be joining forces with Kiwi North and the Northland branch of Birds New Zealand at The Whangarei Growers Market.

We will have our $10 rat trap starter kits for sale and will also be inviting people to take part in an urban pest survey using chew cards (more to come on this) – as well as talking about the project in general.

Kiwi North will have several different conservation activities on the go and Birds NZ will be talking about the New Zealand Bird Atlas scheme.
